At Uniclean we always strive to implement the highest of standards and take our responsibilities as an employer and service provider in the community very seriously.
Set out below are some of our policies on how we address certain aspects of our business.

Uniclean is an equal opportunities employer. We run ongoing internal training schemes for our employees and actively encourage career development and promotion from within. It is our belief that this strategy has contributed to the fact that employee retention is very high resulting in an experienced work force.

Environmental Policies

Uniclean recognises that its activities have certain environmental implications in both the long and short term.
We source our cleaning products from companies that are both ethically and environmentally mindful of their operating activities. For clients that want to put a large emphasis on using specifically produced ‘Eco Friendly’ cleaning products we can supply a full range.

Health & Safety Policies

Uniclean is fully insured and we take our responsibilities very seriously when it comes to health and safety.

The Health and Safety Policy of Uniclean is created to:

Provide, so far as is reasonably practical, safe methods of work, safe working conditions and a healthy environment assessing the risks inherent in the works process to:

Provide health and safety arrangements including planning, organisation, leadership, control, monitoring, review and reporting.

Ensure, so far as is reasonably practical, co-operation, co-ordination and exchange of information between all parties involved in contracts under its control.

Provide all health and safety training or information as may be necessary to personnel at all levels, having regard to risk assessment and individual capabilities.

Establish emergency and other procedures for serious and imminent danger including arrangement when working in dangerous areas.

Provide all health surveillance’s where required by legislation.

Provide all personnel involved in company activities with health and safety assistance.

Provide and display this policy and such written instructions as are necessary to assist in the regulation of healthy and safe practices and operations.

Establish means of consultation on health and safety matters for all employees.

Encourage and promote personal responsibility and effort on the part of all employees to avoid and prevent health hazards and injuries to themselves and others.

Review this policy at 12 month intervals.

Whilst at work there is a legal duty of each and every employee, to take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself and of all other persons who may be affected by his acts or omissions; and to co-operate with the Company and its safety advisors in any way necessary to enable the Company to perform and comply with any duty or requirement under the various regulations affecting health, safety and welfare. This will include the correct use of personal protective equipment and the safe and proper handling and use of materials and equipment together with the prompt reporting of any defects or safety hazards discovered.
